Apple Authorized Service Provider – Expert Repairs in Helsinki & Espoo
Tector is an Apple Authorized Service Provider that helps you with your Apple devices in all of our locations is Helsinki and Espoo. All of our locations receive walk-in customers, so you don't need to make an appointment. You can also send your device to us by post or other courier services.
You can bring all your Apple devices to any of our service points no matter where you bought them from. As an Apple Authorized Service Provider, we only use Apple original parts in our repairs. This way your warranty, AppleCare+, AppleCare Protection plan and consumer rights stay the same after the repair, and you receive high-quality, properly tested original Apple parts for your device. With the instruction on this page you can easily prepare your device for service.

Service with an appointment
You can get iPhone display replacements, battery replacements and repairs for Mac reliably from our stores, with or without an appointment. By making an appointment you ensure that your service will be processed quickly and depending on the service you need devices might be ready on the same day. All appointments are made through Apple's website or Apple support app on your iOS device. You need an Apple ID to make the appointment. You can make an appointment to any of our four locations. If no available appointments are shown, they are all reserved. Please make sure to arrive on time so we can process your service order without any delays.
Recycle for all your Apple devices
We can recycle your old Mac, iPhone, iPad and other Apple devices free of charge in all of our locations and we will take care of secure data destruction and proper SER recycling. Secure data andling is key to our Apple recycling service and by recycling your device properly you can also elp save the environment.

How can I check if my device is still under warranty / AppleCare+ / AppleCare
Protection Plan?
You can check the state of your device's warranty and other Apple service agreements on Apple's website. You will need your device's serial number to check.
Do I need to back up the device before service?
We advice all customers to back up their devices before any service. With an up to date backup you ensure all of your important messages, photos and other data is safe. You can back up your devices at home before the service or you can buy back up service from us. The backup is stored on our services encrypted drive and then restored to your device is needed, or we can make the back up on your empty external drive, or you can by an external drive from our store.
Backing up your Mac to an external hard drive is easy with Time Machine app that is already installed on your computer. iCloud only synchronises the data you have picked in system settings under your Apple account, while Time Machine makes a complete copy of your computer. iOS devices should be cleared of all personal data before service, so it is important your back up is up to date. In some cases we will need to reset iOS devices to factory settings during service. You can backup your iPhone or iPad fully to your iCloud account or on your computer. You can read more about backing up your iOS device on Apple's website.
Do I need to remove something from my device before service?
Before service turn off Find my-activation lock from your device or from iCloud. If you are unable to turn off Find my -activation lock directly from the device, you can log in to icloud.com and choose the device from Find-app -> remove device and then follow onscreen instructions to prepare device for service.
Turn off Apple Cash from settings. Remove cards and passes from Apple Wallet. Please also remove all personal data.
Please remove all attached products, like protective screen, case and stickers. If those are not removed, they will be removed during service.
Do I need to bring accessories like charger or power cord with me?
We don’t need any accessories unless the issue might be connected to it, for example charging issues.
Do you repair devices that are under Apple’s service program?
We repair all devices that are under Apple’s service programs that are valid in Finland.

Please note that repair programs do not extend the original warranty, and Apple may have set
restrictions on the repair programs.
Can I get a repair estimate for my insurance company?
Yes, our service can provide a written cost estimate to the insurance company. After our technician has
examined the device, you will receive a PDF file to your email, which shows which parts need to be
replaced, the prices, and the price of a new equivalent device model.
If the device is beyond repair or the cost of the repair exceeds the price of a new device, this will
also be stated in the written estimate.
You can get a cost estimate by making an appointment or as an express service in up to an hour,
otherwise depending on the current service queue.
The warranty for devices serviced at an Apple authorized service center continues according to the
original one and your rights under consumer protection remain completely intact.
If the device is serviced at an unauthorized service center, the warranty may expire in whole or in
part, and in consumer protection cases, it may be more difficult to prove a manufacturing defect.
How can I pay for the service?
We accept card and cash in all of our stores. We do not accept Amex. You can find more details about available payment methods here.
